‘The Last Embrace’ wins Best Screenplay Award in French filmfest

Iranian short film ‘The Last Embrace’ succeeds to win Best Screenplay Award from the 3rd Gosh! Film Festival in France.

Iranian short film ‘The Last Embrace’ has succeeded to win Best Screenplay Award from the 3rd edition of the Gosh! Film Festival in France.

The award was granted to Saman Hosseinpour, the screenwriter of the flick, by the jury members of the French film event.

'The Last Embrace' brief synopsis reads, "A little girl wants to show her drawing to her family, but everybody is busy with their cell phones. She goes to her grandpa who has just passed away a few minutes ago without anybody noticing it."

'The Last Embrace' previously received Grand Short Film Prize at the Seoul Guro International Kids Film Festival in South Korea.

The Gosh! Film Festival is an independent film event which is dedicated to international short films screenings. The festival is held in Paris and aims to showcase films loved all around the world or brand new talents!

The 3rd edition of the event was held on June 25, 2018, in Paris, France.
